Here is a little information about LLANERCHAERON MANSION The National Trust Property Which is now open to the public.

The mansion house has had extensive restoration which was completed in June 2002, and restoration of the farm buildings and grounds is still in action.The estate will be open daily except Monday and Tuesday from 31st March until the 31st of October 2004, but they are open on Bank Holidays. Admission charges for 2004 are:
  • Adult - £5.00 for the house and gardens and £4.00 for home farm and gardens.
  • Child - £2.50 for the house and gardens and £2.00 for home farm and gardens.
  • There are special prices for families: £12.00 for 2 Adults and 2 Children
  • and groups:£4.00 for Adults and £2.00 for Children if there are 15 or more in a party

    Over two hundred volunteers together with many experts have brought the mansion House and its gardens back to life. Read more about it in the National Trust Magazine Summer 2002 issue, or use the link to the National Trust Website at the bottom of the page.

    The National Trust has published leaflets, which were researched and written by the Llanerchaeron volunteers, of several walks around Llanerchaeron estate,and are available in Welsh and in English at Llanerchaeron. The walks are between 2km and 4km, Through the churchyard, Around the home farm, Wig Wen which is a walk around the valley past one of the old estate farms of that name, and around the villa.
