An Introduction to:

The DYLAN THOMAS TRAIL

on the 50th anniversary of his death ( 9th November 2003 )

The Dylan Thomas Trail

A book written by David N. Thomas, in which he describes the beautiful countryside of Ceredigion where Dylan Thomas walked, and the places connected with his life and work in this area.
At the south end of Victoria street, just next door to us, you will find above the door next to YDFA, the healthfood store, the blue plaque which denotes the building's connection with Dylan Thomas. As described in the book, this is the place where Dewi Ianthe lived. He used to repair radios in the little shop which is now YDFA and he was Dylan Thomas's unofficial chauffeur. The book is of interest to Dylan Thomas fans whether they are walkers or not. It contains many old advertisements and photographs of the area. The book is published by Y Lolfa Cyf. in Talybont, Ceredigion. SY24 5AP. You can find their website on www.ylolfa.com
